Since we’ve opened, we’ve been dedicated to changing the lives of people one person at a time, through Martial Arts, education and coaching. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all students and family members. We take pride in creating an environment for individuals to achieve, develop and succeed in their personal goals.
We strongly believe that Martial Arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender or experience levels. In our Kung Fu and Muay Thai Kickboxing programs, students will learn the necessary skill sets to protect themselves. Master Cosmo Zimik
Master Cosmo began studying Burmese Thaing Kung Fu when he was 4 years old. He initially learned from his oldest brother, Aring, who was a Thaing practitioner. Later, he studied under Grandmaster Shimreigam Serou.
A Brief History About Master Cosmo Zimik
Brief History of Cosmo’s Life: Born into a tribal war with India, trained as a black belt and street fighter from the age of nine, tortured and left for dead at the age of seventeen, Cosmo Zimik has an intimate, working knowledge of violence. During his long weeks of recovery, nursed to health by a total stranger deep in the jungle, the seed of the Empty Hand Revolution germinated in Cosmo’s mind. Years of fighting, multiple contracts on his life and another near-death experience forced Cosmo’s Empty Hand Revolution into full fruition. In a world hungry for power and drunk on violence, what does it mean to be a true warrior?

Burmese Thaing Kung Fu
6th Degree Black Belt, Thaing is a combination of Burmese Martial Arts which includes, Bando, Banshay, Naban, and Lethwei. Bando is a hand to hand unarmed combat style, Banshay a weapons based system, Naban which is wrestling, pressure points & joint manipulation, and Leithwei which is Burmese kick boxing, the art of 9 limbs.
Tae Kwon Do
7th Degree Black Belt, is a Korean martial art, characterized by its emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques.
Other Arts
Sifu Cosmo has learned many different Martial Arts including: Burmese Thaing | Indian Martial Arts | Chinese Kung Fu | Qin Na (pressure points and joint locks) | Muay Thai Kick Boxing and weapons. Some of the weapons include: Swords | double swords | sticks | long staff | khukri, knife, and spears.
Sifu Cosmo was appointed Technical Director of Chitah JKD Global Federation. Chitah JKD has trained over 300,000 women in self-defense all over the world.
